A massive thank you to everyone who kindly contributed to the Christmas appeal! Overall our Christmas appeal was a huge success! With lots of hard work and so much support from everyone, we raised over £200,000 in toys and cash donations and helped over 6800 of our most deprived local children who would otherwise have received nothing at all this Christmas. We spent the whole of December in Psyche department store in Middlesbrough sorting toys and packing them into Santa sacks to be given to babies, children and teenagers. We distributed toys to a phenomenal 6826 children accross the entire broadcast region.
